About Adam

Adam trail running at Lincoln Mountain,

An all-surface runner (road, track, trail) and endurance sports enthusiast, with a primary love for trails . Over 5 decades of running and racing, starting with my first race, in 1971.

I was a mediocre runner early in life - I didn't make the varsity squad on my HS cross-country team. I was a much better tennis player. I didn’t find running competitive success until my late 30s. Most of my PRs were in my late 40s. I continue to race competitively into my 60s.
